Cigar Shapes And Cigar Ring Size Made Easy

This page simplifies cigar shapes and cigar ring size.

Ring gauge is measured in 64ths of an inch. This means if you want to know the diameter of the cigar, you just divide the ring gauge into 64. So, if your gauge on a Churchill is 48, you divide 48 into 64, which gives you a .75 (3/4 of an inch).

There are many names for the different shapes, so we have provided you with an easy to follow listing.

You are welcome to print out our guides below.

An excellent visual aid is provided below, along with a ruler to measure length.

You can carry this with you to help in identification.

We hope you find our cigar ring size guide and shape guide helpful.
