Drew Estate Chateau Real Cristales Cigar Review
Appearance: 92 - This Drew Estate Chateau Real cigar is displayed in a clear glass tube, topped off with loose tobacco on top to secure cigar, and capped with real cork. This delightful cigar is draped in a gorgeous golden brown Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and is quite pleasing to the eye. Construction: 95.5 - Great construction. Although wrapper appears as if it would be delicate, it is not. This satin beauty has what it takes to remain intact from first cut to last draw. Capped off beautifully. Cigar retains integrity throughout entire smoke. Draw: 96 - Excellent draw... not too loose and not too hard. Burn: 94 - Burn remains even throughout smoke. Produces clouds of white smoke, with a grayish-white ash. Ash easily gets to an inch or better before showing a desire to separate. Some flaking, but not to the point of annoyance. Taste: 97.5 - Creamy caramel with coffee undertones take front seat minutes after first light. As smoke continues, it builds in intensity slightly, increasing it's rich taste, but never losing it's sweet undertones. Last half of smoke introduces tastes of cherry, which come and go, but mix wonderfully with the constant coffee and caramel tones. Taste lingers nicely on the palate and does not overstay it's welcome. A wonderful smoke.
CIGAR RATING: 95
