Romeo y Julieta Cigars
1875 Churchill en Tubo Review

MEDIUM to FULL-BODIED

These particular Romeo y Julieta cigars have a dark brown Indonesian wrapper which is attractive to the eye, but rough to the touch.

The 1875 Churchill is well constructed, but almost all have a split wrapper at the beginning of the foot. This is due to the foam on the inside of the cap pressing too hard onto the cigar. Cap is also extremely difficult to get off.

Aside from the aesthetic aspect of the foot, it did not affect the performance of the cigar.

Licorice and citrus with woody undertones accompany the entire smoke.

Leather and pepper kick in the last third of the smoke.

Finish is strong and tangy.

Burn was even, but a little too hot.

Our Romeo y Julieta 1875 Churchill en Tubo cigar review gives a #7 cigar rating on our top 10 cigars list. We invite your comments and suggestions, as well as your own cigar reviews you would like to see published by Cigar-Info-Guide on our up and coming Cigar Smoker Corner Review section.
